London Overground
London Overground operates rail services in and around London, providing connections to the London Underground and the rest of the National Rail main line network. Branded orange on the Tube map, the franchise is under the control of transport for London (TfL) and has enjoyed continued investment into its service over recent years.
London Overground Routes
The London Overground route stretches from Watford Junction in the North West, to Croydon in the South and from Barking in the East of London all the way to Richmond and Wandsworth in the South West. London Overground runs services from 112 stations along the following routes:
- Dalston Junction to West Croydon
- Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington
- Watford Junction to Euston
- Clapham Junction to Surrey Quays
- Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford
- Gospel Oak to Barking

About London Overground
London Overground is a surburban rail service formerly known as Silverlink Metro. In recent times many new, high tech, fully air conditioned trains have been put into service across the entire network and the extended East London Line opened with fourn new stations: Haggerston, Shoreditch High Street, Hoxton and Dalston Junction. In 2012 the South London line was extended from Surrey Quays to Clapham Junction. Oystercards are valid for travel to and from all London Overground stations.
London Overground Expansion
In May 2015 services previously under the control of Abellio Greater Anglia between London Liverpool Street and Enfield, Chingford and Cheshunt and London and Upminster came also became part of the London Overground network

Refunds for delays

If you were delayed on London Overground or TfL Rail services and arrived at your destination more than one hour late
Your refund can be calculated as set out in the National Rail Conditions of Carriage (see the section on 'Train Service Disruption'), if this would result in the refund being higher.
