Network Railcard

What is it?

A network railcard entitles the holder plus up to three adults to travel with a third off most British rail fares in and around London. Up to four children can travel also on one railcard, and a 60% reduction will apply. The network railcard discount applies to all journeys undertaken on weekends and after 10am Monday to Friday. Minimum fare restrictions of £13 for adult tickets and £1 for child tickets apply Monday to Friday.

The discount applies to the network area only, in the South East of England. Major towns and cities encompassed by this network area include: Bedford, Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge, Canterbury, Chelmsford, Colchester, Exeter, Kings Lynn, Maidstone, Northampton, Oxford, Portsmouth, Reading, Salisbury, Southampton, Weymouth and Worcester.

Network Railcard discounts are not available on Advance tickets, Season Tickets, First Class tickets, Gatwick Express tickets (between Gatwick Airport & London Victoria), Oyster pay as you go, Eurostar tickets, special excursions or charter trains, or in conjunction with some Train Company special offers.
