Highland Explorer Off Peak Return

As part of the launch of the new Highland Explorer carriage on Glasgow-Oban route, ScotRail have created new Highland Explorer products which permits travel within this carriage.

Highland Explorer tickets for same day travel on Glasgow to Oban services, travelling in Highland Explorer carriage with extra space and comfort.

Complimentary refreshments on the train subject to availability.

Availability

Highland Explorer tickets require a reservation to be able to travel therefore they are required to be booked up to 1800 the day before travel and are subject to availability.

Discounts

Child:

50% discount for children aged 5-15. Under 5s travel free.



Railcard:

Standard National Railcard discounts apply.

Break of Journey

Outward:

Journeys can not be broken, other than for connectional purposes.

Change of Journey

Travel plans can be changed before the outward journey subject to a £10 administration fee.

Refunds

Refunds are available, subject to a £10 administration fee, on unused tickets surrendered up to 28 days after expiry of ticket.
