Covid-19 Refunds
 

Full refund on unused tickets purchased on or before 19th December 2020 for travel between 23 December 2020 and 27 December 2020 inclusive.

 

Changes to Advance tickets:

12 months admin-fee-free 'Change of Advance'

We are offering 12 months admin-fee-free 'Change of Advance' for:

  • Advance tickets purchased on or before 4th Jan 2021 for travel on or after 05 Jan 2021.
  • Advance tickets purchased to or from a National Rail station that has changed to Tier 2, 3 & 4 on or before 14th December 2020 for travel between 16 December 2020 and  02 January 2021.
  • Advance tickets purchased on or before 26th November 2020 for travel between 02 December 2020 and  02 January 2021.
  • Advance tickets purchased on or before 31st October 2020 for travel between 01 November 2020 and  02 December 2020.

You have 12 months from the outward travel date & time to rebook any journey and we will refund the total ticket cost of the lesser value journey (waiving the admin fee). If an amendment results in a lower price ticket, the difference in fare will not be refunded. Please note that we are unable to offer travel vouchers or credit notes.

Standard T&Cs come into effect on your replacement booking, depending on the ticket type. Refer to 'Advance tickets purchased after the announcement' for more info.

Normal administration fees for all other ticket types (Off Peak / Anytime) will remain in place for any tickets purchased and an admin fee of no more than £10 will apply to refunds.

 

Advance Tickets purchased outside of the above-mentioned dates will not be eligible for fee-free changes. Normal T&Cs apply.

 

If you have an  Off-Peak  or Anytime  ticket and you apply for a refund on an unused ticket, an admin fee will still apply.

The terms and conditions applicable to your ticket type determine the circumstances under which it can be cancelled/refunded all tickets are amendable. The ticket type's fare terms are set by the train operating companies, not Raileasy. Please check the terms and conditions of your ticket before you proceed to purchase to make sure they meet your needs.

If you wish to refund your flexible tickets or if you have amended your journeys on Raileasy.co.uk, please submit a refund via Manage My Booking

Please note that if you have booked ToD (Ticket on Departure) tickets and collected/ printed the tickets from a self service ticket machine or ticket desk at the station, you will be able to email us with a high resolution scan of all your the tickets to check and verify before a refund can be obtained.

If your reference is entered correctly but not recognised in Manage My Booking, then it is highly likely that you've booked your journey on Trainsplit.com so please submit a refund on refunds.trainsplit.com

If you have booked ToD (Ticket on Departure) tickets and collected/ printed the tickets from a self service ticket machine or ticket desk at the station, you must fill out the refund form and upload a scan of all your tickets before a refund can be issued.

 

For all refund applications, kindly note that you must submit a claim within 28 days of the original travel date AND submit a scan of your printed ToD (Ticket on Departure) tickets to us before we can process your claim.
