A free coach shuttle will deliver you from the festival's closest rail station Castle Cary to the festival bus station (only if you have a festival ticket!) This coach shuttle will run from Wednesday morning to 5pm on Monday evening, and will coincide with the train timetable (so will not run through the night) so you get to the site quicker and start the revelries sooner.
There will be a limited transfer service from Bristol Temple Meads station on the Wednesday and Thursday which you pay for on the day. Four trains every hour leave London Paddington for Bristol Temple Meads, and one train every hour leaves for Castle Cary - but there'll be extra services run over the Glastonbury weekend.
If you're going to the Glastonbury Festival, it's well worth checking out trains which could save you time & money. Remember to book before the day of travel otherwise you could be in for a nasty shock. Fares on the day of departure could be in excess of £100 return.
