First ScotRail is a Train Operating Company of the UK that runs rail services across Scotland, to Carlise, Newcastle and London.

ScotRail is the only train operating company in the United Kingdom to provide local rail services across Scotland reaching as far North as Wick in the highlands, which is located on the main highway to John O'Groats.
