BROT & SPIEL (BREAD AND CIRCUS FESTIVAL)
The bread and circus festival, held in August takes you back in time to Trier in its Roman heyday, enjoy watching ancient sports such as wrestling or bare knuckling fighting and sampling Roman delights such as Trojan pig washed down with mulsum wine (wine and honey) served in traditional Roman Inns and taverns.   Don’t forget to visit the Legionaries camp and see Roman soldiers brought to life.  There are also craft markets, dances, and songs.

TRIER ANTIQUITY FESTIVAL
The Trier antiquity festival celebrates opera and music through a variety of traditional performances and modern adaptations of well loved classics throughout the summer.

MOSELLE FESTIVAL
The summer Moselle Festival is held on the banks of the river Moselle which the city surrounds, locals and travellers alike can celebrate Trier life at this summer festival, with plentiful food, drinks, and fireworks to entertain.
