STUTTGART BEER FESTIVAL
The Stuttgart beer festival takes place over two weeks at the end of September, and is second only in size to Munich’s massive Oktoberfest.  The Stuttgart beer festival celebrates the countries favourite tipple and all that is good about Swabian culture, with fairground rides, Oompah bands, traditional costume and much more.

STUTTGART WINE FESTIVAL
For two weeks during September and August the market place, Schillerplatz and Kirchstrasse is filled with over 120 wine alcoves decorated in traditional Swabian folklore.  The region has been a prestigious producer of wine for centuries, and the Stuttgart wine festival celebrates viniculture with 100s of local wines and traditional cuisine.  A firm Stuttgart favourite is maultaschen ravioli washed down with a cool glass of Riesling.
